Clark County voters who have not yet cast a ballot will decide the Nov. 3 general election at their precinct polling places on Tuesday, after early in-person voting wrapped up at the Clark County Board of Elections in Springfield on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Early voting ran at the board’s office at the Springview Government Center, 3130 E. Main St. in Springfield, under the Ohio Secretary of State’s 2026 schedule, which set the final early session for Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There is no early voting on Monday or on Election Day itself.
On Tuesday, Nov. 3, polls across Clark County are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., the board notes on its official site. Voters can confirm their polling location through the board or the Secretary of State’s voter lookup, and a photo ID is required for in-person voting.
Voters still holding an absentee ballot should not rely on the mail at this point. Under the change signed into law in December 2025, absentee ballots must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day to be counted — there is no longer a post-election grace period for most ballots, The Columbus Dispatch reported. The board’s office at 3130 E. Main St. is the drop-off point, and its mailing address is P.O. Box 1766, Springfield, OH 45501-1766.
On the ballot, as NewsForce247 reported in its first-pass Clark County preview, voters will decide a health levy renewal and two county commissioner seats, alongside the statewide races and issues on every Ohio ballot.
The board’s office can be reached at 937-521-2120 during its regular hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for questions about registration, polling places or ballot return.
Clark County is one of the last stops in NewsForce247’s second pass through all 88 Ohio counties ahead of the Nov. 3 election, and election officials across the state are urging voters who still need a polling place or ballot information to check it on Monday rather than waiting until Tuesday morning, when board phone lines are at their busiest.
What happens next is Election Day itself: polls open at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, and unofficial results will be reported by the board after polls close at 7:30 p.m. NewsForce247 will carry Clark County results as they are reported Tuesday night.
