Seneca County voters in Tiffin enter the final week of early voting Wednesday, Oct. 28, ahead of the Nov. 3 general election, according to the Seneca County Board of Elections.
Early in-person voting is at the Seneca County Board of Elections, 71 S. Washington St., Suite 1101, in Tiffin, the board’s official site says. Hours Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 30, are 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by Saturday, Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., according to the board.
Polls are open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, the board says. Absentee ballots must be received by the board office by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, according to the board’s published guidance.
On the Nov. 3 ballot in Seneca County is a mental health levy renewal, along with statewide Issue 3 and the statewide and district races that appear on ballots across the county, according to ballot information summarized by The Fostoria Free Press from the Seneca County Board of Elections and the Ohio Secretary of State. Voters can see their exact ballot through the Ohio Secretary of State’s sample ballot lookup, which links to the county board.
Voters must bring an accepted photo ID, such as an Ohio driver’s license, an Ohio state ID card or a U.S. passport, The Fostoria Free Press reported from the board’s guidance. Questions can go to the Seneca County Board of Elections at 419-447-4424, the board’s listing says.
The board lists Lori Elchert as director and James Ehrman as deputy director, with Jim Cline as chairperson, according to its official site on boe.ohio.gov. Regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, apart from the extended early-voting hours above.
For Seneca County residents, the remaining early-voting window is the last chance to vote in person before Election Day without going to an assigned polling place on Nov. 3. Officials urge voters to check their registration and sample ballot before they go, and to use the board’s secure drop box and early-voting location in Tiffin.
