Civista Bancshares, Inc., the Sandusky-based financial holding company, announced on Wednesday, October 21, that its board of directors has approved and declared a quarterly dividend of 18 cents per common share. The company said the amount is consistent with the dividend paid in the prior quarter. Shareholders of record as of November 3, 2026, will receive the payment, which is payable on November 17, 2026.

The dividend represents a total payout of approximately $3.7 million, according to the company. For shareholders, the two dates in the announcement mark the steps in the payment. The record date of November 3 determines which shareholders of record are in line for this quarter’s distribution, and the payable date of November 17 is when the dividend is scheduled to be paid. The company presented the unchanged 18-cent amount as a continuation of its previous quarterly dividend.

Civista Bancshares is a $4.3 billion financial holding company headquartered in Sandusky, in Erie County. Its primary subsidiary is Civista Bank, which provides full-service banking, commercial lending, mortgage, and wealth management services to customers in its markets.
