A second man, age 26, was found inside the bar with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. He was also taken to Summa Health for treatment. Police said he is expected to survive. His name was not released, and police did not release additional details about his condition beyond that expectation.
A 33-year-old man was detained for questioning in connection with the shooting, police said. His name was not released. Police did not announce any charges in the information released so far, and they did not describe any additional suspects. The department said detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the altercation and the gunfire that followed.
The shooting closed out a late-night call for officers in the area around the lounge, where the parking lot and the interior of the bar both became part of the investigation. Police have not released information about a motive. They also have not said how many shots were fired or whether any weapons were recovered at the scene.
