Home Genius Exteriors has opened a Toledo-area location, announcing on Sunday, Nov. 1, that its new office in Sylvania is among five new locations the exterior home-improvement company is launching across four states, according to the company’s announcement carried by PR Newswire.
The Toledo location, at 4848 North Holland Sylvania Avenue, Suite 101 in Sylvania, opened Nov. 1, the company said. It is the company’s new base for serving homeowners in Toledo and across Northwest Ohio.
The expansion also includes new locations in Nashville, Tennessee, and in Lehigh Valley and Erie, Pennsylvania, along with Dover, Delaware, the company announced. The Pennsylvania and Delaware locations follow later in November, opening Nov. 20, according to the announcement.
Home Genius Exteriors, based in Hyattsville, Maryland, describes itself as one of the nation’s fastest-growing exterior home-improvement companies. The five openings strengthen its ability to serve homeowners throughout the Midwest, the Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast, the company said in its announcement.
The Toledo opening is the only Ohio location in this round of expansion, and it opened on the first day of the month alongside the company’s other Nov. 1 openings, while the remaining sites in Pennsylvania and Delaware are scheduled to follow on Nov. 20, according to the announcement carried by PR Newswire.
The announcement, dated Nov. 1 and issued from Hyattsville, Maryland, lists the Toledo site as now serving homeowners, language the company used for the locations opening this weekend as it continues a national expansion that has added markets across multiple regions this year.
Sylvania and the wider Toledo metro have been a steady market for home-improvement demand, with an aging housing stock across Lucas County driving ongoing work on roofs and exteriors. The company said the five new locations strengthen its national footprint across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
For Lucas County homeowners, the opening adds another national exterior contractor competing for local roofing, siding and window work as the region heads into the winter months, when roof and exterior problems tend to surface. The company did not announce a local hiring total in its release.
The Sylvania location is now serving homeowners, according to the company. Residents can find the new office on North Holland Sylvania Avenue, a corridor that has continued to draw home-services and retail investment on Toledo’s west side.
