Fulton County voters can cast an early in-person ballot from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. this week, Monday through Friday, October 19 to 23, at the Fulton County Board of Elections, 135 Courthouse Plaza in Wauseon, as voting for the November 3, 2026 general election continues across Ohio.
The board’s office in Wauseon is the county’s early voting location, and the hours follow the statewide schedule set by the Ohio Secretary of State. Early in-person voting began October 6, and absentee voting by mail began the same day for voters who prefer to return a ballot without voting in person on Election Day.
Hours expand in the final stretch. Early voting runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, then 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 26, and 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27. Voting continues from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. October 28 through 30, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 31, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, the last day of early voting.
Voters who want to vote by mail face a firm deadline next week: absentee ballot applications must be received by the board of elections by 8:30 p.m. on October 27. Applications can be returned to the board office at 135 Courthouse Plaza, and a drop box on the sidewalk by the board’s main entrance accepts absentee ballots, ballot request forms and voter registration forms.
Completed absentee ballots must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, to be counted. Military and overseas voters began receiving ballots on September 18, and their mailed ballots face a separate November 7 receipt deadline under state and federal rules.
The voter registration deadline for this election was October 5 at 9 p.m., so the voters deciding Fulton County’s November 3 ballot are already set. Voters can check their sample ballot and the candidates and issues for their precinct through the board of elections and the Secretary of State before they go to vote.
On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, polls across Fulton County will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Voters who have not cast an early or absentee ballot by then will vote at their assigned polling place, and anyone in line at 7:30 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
