Early voting for the Nov. 3 general election enters its final week in Fulton County on Monday, with in-person voting available at the Fulton County Board of Elections, 135 Courthouse Plaza in Wauseon. Polls on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., the board confirms.
Monday’s early-voting hours run from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. under the Ohio Secretary of State’s statewide schedule — the first of the extended-hours days in the final week. Voting continues Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., which is the last day of early in-person voting.
Tuesday, Oct. 27, is also a deadline Fulton County voters should circle: absentee ballot applications must be received by the board of elections by 8:30 p.m. that day. Voters can download and print an application from the board’s website, request one by email, or call the board and leave a detailed message asking for an application to be mailed to them.
Completed absentee ballots and applications can be returned to the board office at 135 Courthouse Plaza, and the board provides a drop box on the sidewalk by its main entrance for ballots, absentee request forms and voter registration forms. Under state rules, non-military absentee ballots must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
Registration for this election closed Oct. 5. Fulton County voters can preview what is on their ballot through the board’s ballot tools before they vote, and the board’s site carries the official Notice of Election, candidate filing information and ballot proofs for review for the Nov. 3 general election.
Local questions on Fulton County ballots this fall include township levy decisions — in Clinton Township, for example, voters are deciding fire, road, current-expense and cemetery levies, each proposed for five years beginning with tax year 2026 and first due in calendar year 2027, according to the township’s published levy information.
Board staff remind voters to bring valid identification when voting in person. Anyone who has not yet voted early or by mail can still cast a ballot at their assigned polling place on Election Day, Nov. 3, between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
