COLUMBUS, Ohio — ODW Logistics, the Columbus-based third-party logistics provider, has been named to the FreightWaves 2027 FreightTech100, the industry list recognizing 100 companies for innovation across freight and supply chain technology, the company announced Monday, October 26.

FreightWaves’ research team evaluated a record number of nominations for this year’s list, weighing documented innovation, market impact and how each company’s ideas have evolved over the past year. This year’s class leans heavily toward artificial intelligence, automation, autonomous trucking and fleet telematics, and ODW is one of only a small number of warehousing and retail consolidation providers on it.

The recognition centers on work that runs every day in live operations. ODW was cited for technology used in warehouse, retail consolidation and managed transportation operations, where shippers measure results in cost and compliance rather than in dashboards alone.

At the heart of that strategy is TM-Link, ODW’s proprietary transportation management and freight orchestration platform. Built for managed transportation and multi-shipper freight consolidation, TM-Link connects order, transportation, warehouse and electronic data interchange information to optimize planning, consolidation, execution and retailer compliance.

The company says the platform now supports its managed transportation and retail consolidation network serving more than 100 retailers and hundreds of consolidated truckloads each week. Shippers in the network lower freight costs by approximately 30 percent, the company said, while reducing retailer fines and improving on-time, in-full performance.

“The opportunity in freight technology isn’t simply more visibility or more data,” said Dave Giblin, ODW’s executive vice president. “It’s turning that intelligence into better decisions and better execution, so customers can take cost and complexity out of their supply chains while improving service and staying ahead of change.” Giblin said TM-Link is becoming the heart of a broader supply chain ecosystem connecting ODW’s operations, data and technology partners.

For Columbus, the honor is another marker for a region that has built a national logistics footprint around its highway crossroads, intermodal yards and cargo airport. ODW describes itself as a provider of integrated warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment and transportation services, and the FreightTech100 placement puts a Columbus name on a list usually dominated by coastal software firms.
