Columbiana County voters can cast an early in-person ballot from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. this week, October 19 through 23, at the Columbiana County Board of Elections, 7989 Dickey Drive, Suite 3, in Lisbon, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s early voting locations list.
Early in-person voting for the November 3, 2026 general election began October 6 across Ohio and runs through Sunday, November 1. The Secretary of State’s statewide schedule keeps the 8-to-5 weekday hours through October 23, then expands in the final week before Election Day.
Saturday, October 24 brings early voting from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours then grow longer: Monday, October 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and October 28 through 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by Saturday, October 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 1 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Voters who prefer to vote by mail face a hard deadline in that final week. Absentee ballot applications must be received by the board of elections by 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, under the Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule.
Completed absentee ballots carry their own deadline as well. Non-military absentee ballots must be received by the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, November 3, to be counted, so voters mailing a ballot back should allow ample time for it to arrive.
There is no early in-person voting on Monday, November 2. On Election Day itself, Tuesday, November 3, polls across Columbiana County and the rest of Ohio are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for voters casting a ballot at their assigned polling place.
Voters can check their sample ballot, registration status and polling place through the Ohio Secretary of State before heading out, and should bring an accepted form of photo identification when they vote in person at the Lisbon office or on Election Day.
