GREENVILLE, Ohio — Early voting in Darke County enters its final week Monday ahead of the November 3, 2026 general election, with in-person absentee voting at the Darke County Board of Elections, 603 Wagner Avenue in Greenville.

The final-week schedule expands beyond the weekday hours voters saw earlier in October. The board is open Monday, October 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Wednesday through Friday, October 28–30 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to the board’s published early voting hours.

Early voting then continues into the final weekend: Saturday, October 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 1 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There is no early voting on Monday, November 2 — voters who have not cast an early or absentee ballot by then vote at their regular polling location on Election Day.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, with polls open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at each voter’s assigned polling location. Early ballots are cast at the board office, not at a voter’s Election Day precinct — the distinction the board stresses for voters heading out this week.

The statewide calendar carries one more deadline this week: absentee ballot applications must be received by the board of elections by 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule. Voters returning a voted absentee ballot should follow the board’s instructions so it is received by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

The board’s work continues after the polls close. Its published meeting schedule lists an Election Day meeting on Tuesday, November 3 at 6:30 a.m., the official canvass on Tuesday, November 17 at 9 a.m., and a post-election audit on Tuesday, November 24 at 9 a.m., all at the board office in Greenville and open to the public.

Darke County voters can check their registration, polling location, and sample ballot through the board’s voter resources before heading out. With expanded evening hours all week, the board’s final-week schedule is built for voters who cannot get to Greenville during regular business hours.
