Wood County voters can cast an early in-person ballot on Saturday, October 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wood County Board of Elections in Bowling Green, as early voting for the November 3 general election enters its final full week. The board reported no county-specific turnout total for publication with the Saturday hours.

All early in-person voting in Wood County takes place at one location, the board office at 1 Courthouse Square, Bowling Green, OH 43402. The Secretary of State’s early-voting directory lists the same address. Voters should go to the board office to vote early, not to their Election Day precinct, and should bring an accepted unexpired photo ID, such as an Ohio driver’s license, state ID card, or U.S. passport.

The final week brings the longest hours of the period. There is no early voting on Sunday, October 25. Voting resumes Monday, October 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., continues Tuesday, October 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and runs Wednesday through Friday, October 28 to 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. A second Saturday session follows October 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and early in-person voting ends Sunday, November 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Deadlines fall inside that final week. Absentee ballot applications must be received by the board by 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, under the Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule. There is no early in-person voting on Monday, November 2, the day before Election Day, so November 1 is the last chance to vote early in person.

Wood County ballots will include statewide races and questions alongside county races, local offices, judgeships, and local levies and issues, with the exact contests varying by community and precinct. Voters are encouraged to review a sample ballot before they go, through the Wood County Board of Elections and the Secretary of State’s voter resources, so they can see the races and issues for their own address.

Voters with a vote-by-mail ballot should follow the board’s return rules rather than taking it to a polling place on Election Day. A mailed ballot must be postmarked by the Monday before Election Day, or it can be returned in person or by the board’s secured drop box at 1 Courthouse Square by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Voters can also track a mail ballot through the board’s tracking link.

After early voting closes November 1, the next opportunity is Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, when precinct polling places will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Absentee ballots must also be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. that day. Residents with questions can contact the board in Bowling Green or check the Secretary of State’s schedule before heading out.
