BRYAN, Ohio — Williams County voters are in the final week of early voting for the Nov. 3, 2026 general election, with extended hours through Sunday, Nov. 1 at the Williams County Board of Elections in Bryan. The board lists its office at 1425 E. High St., Suite 104, Bryan, and the Ohio Secretary of State lists the same address as the county’s early voting location.

The Williams County Board of Elections lists extended hours of 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, Thursday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Oct. 30, followed by Saturday, Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 1 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Ohio Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule lists the same hours and notes that early in-person voting began Oct. 6.

Sunday, Nov. 1 is the last day of early in-person voting. On Tuesday, Nov. 3, the board directs voters to vote at their regular polling place, where polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to the Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule.

For mail voters, the window to request a ballot has closed. The Secretary of State’s schedule states that absentee ballot applications had to be received by the board by 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 27. Completed non-military and overseas absentee ballots must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, according to the same schedule, so voters still holding a completed ballot should plan to deliver it to the board in Bryan in time.

Voters can preview their decisions before they arrive. The Williams County Board of Elections has posted sample ballots for the Nov. 3 election through its voter lookup site, including the ballot for Bryan Precinct 001-BRA. That sample ballot carries the statewide races on ballots across Ohio — Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Auditor of State, Secretary of State, Treasurer of State, two Ohio Supreme Court seats, and U.S. Senator for the unexpired term ending Jan. 3, 2029 — according to the board’s sample ballot.

The Bryan sample ballot also lists Representative to Congress for the 9th District, State Senator for the 1st District, State Representative for the 81st District, 6th District Court of Appeals judges, a Williams County Common Pleas judge for the Juvenile and Probate Division, and County Commissioner and County Auditor, according to the board. Voters in other precincts should check their own sample ballot, because local races and issues can vary by precinct.

State Issue 3, a proposed constitutional amendment to require photo identification to vote, also appears on the board’s sample ballot. Local issues on the Bryan ballot include Issue 6, a renewal levy for Williams County OSU Extension; Issue 7, an additional levy for senior citizens services; and Issue 8, a renewal levy for the Four County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services, according to the sample ballot. Questions go to the board at 419-636-1854; voters can check registration, polling places and sample ballots through VoteOhio.gov before early voting ends Nov. 1.
