Washington County voters can cast an early in-person ballot on Saturday, October 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Washington County Board of Elections, 204 Davis Avenue, Suite B, in Marietta, according to the board’s official early voting schedule and the Ohio Secretary of State’s early voting directory.
Saturday is the first weekend day of early voting for the November 3, 2026 general election. The board’s published hours show early voting began October 6 and ran weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through October 23, before the Saturday session. There is no early voting session on Sunday, October 25.
Hours expand in the final week. The board will be open Monday, October 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Tuesday, October 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Wednesday through Friday, October 28 to 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by Saturday, October 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday, October 27 is also a deadline day: absentee ballot applications must be received by the board of elections by 8:30 p.m. that day, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule. The board’s staff is led by Director Mandy Amos and Deputy Director Melissa Saltzwedel.
Early in-person voting is cast at the board of elections office in Marietta, not at a voter’s precinct polling place. The board’s site directs voters to check their sample ballot and registration through its voter lookup tools before they come in.
Voters who do not vote early or by mail will vote at their assigned polling location on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, when polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. across Ohio. Non-UOCAVA absentee ballots must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
Washington County’s early voting continues Monday morning in Marietta, with the longer final-week hours in effect through Sunday, November 1.
The board reminds voters that in-person early voting is available to any registered Washington County voter, with no excuse required, and that voters already in line when a session is scheduled to end are allowed to vote under Ohio law.
