The field is set. The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its final football computer ratings on Sunday, and 336 teams across seven divisions have qualified for the 2026 OHSAA football playoffs.
The top 12 teams in each of the state’s 28 regions made the field. The top four seeds in every region receive a first-round bye, and the remaining eight seeds in each region open the postseason this week. Every first-round game is Friday, Oct. 30, at 7:00 p.m., hosted by the higher seed.

North Union Draws Vermilion in Division V, Region 18
Richwood North Union is in. The Wildcats finished 7-3 and earned the No. 9 seed in Division V, Region 18.
North Union opens the playoffs on the road: No. 9 North Union (7-3) at No. 8 Vermilion (7-3) on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7:00 p.m. in Vermilion, with the higher seed hosting. The winner advances to the regional quarterfinals on Nov. 6 against No. 1 seed LaGrange Keystone.
