MEDINA, Ohio — Medina County voters have two days of early in-person voting left before the Tuesday, Nov. 3 general election, and the county Board of Elections in Medina is the place to cast one of those ballots this weekend.

The board’s early voting center is at its office at 3800 Stonegate Drive, Suite C, in Medina, according to the Medina County Board of Elections. Early in-person voting runs Saturday, Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., under the statewide schedule published by the Ohio Secretary of State. Sunday is the final day of early in-person voting in Ohio.

There is no early in-person voting on Monday, Nov. 2, the day before Election Day, under the Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule. Voters who have not cast a ballot by Sunday evening will vote at their assigned precinct polling place on Election Day itself.

For voters holding an absentee ballot by mail, the deadlines have tightened. The window to request an absentee ballot closed Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 8:30 p.m., and completed non-military absentee ballots must be received by the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, to be counted, according to the Secretary of State. Voters can return a completed ballot in person at the board office in Medina rather than relying on the mail in the final days.

Medina County voters are deciding the same statewide races as every other Ohio county, including governor, attorney general, auditor, secretary of state, treasurer, two seats on the Ohio Supreme Court and a U.S. Senate race, along with the countywide and local contests and issues on their precinct’s ballot. Sample ballots for each precinct are available through the Board of Elections.

On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, polls across Ohio are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to the Secretary of State. Voters in line by 7:30 p.m. are permitted to cast a ballot.

What happens next is the close of early voting at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, followed by Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The Board of Elections can be reached at 330-722-9278, and voters can confirm their registration, polling place and sample ballot through the board or the Secretary of State’s voter lookup before heading out.
