COLUMBUS — Voters in Ohio House District 10 will choose between incumbent Rep. Mark Sigrist and Republican challenger Denise D’Angelo in one of the state’s most competitive legislative races this November.
The district stretches from just south of downtown Columbus southwest into central Ohio, taking in Grove City and surrounding communities. Analysts rate it nearly dead even, with a 50-49 Republican edge — making it one of the few genuine toss-ups in the legislature.
Sigrist, a Democrat from Grove City, is seeking reelection in the district he currently represents. D’Angelo, the Republican challenger, is looking to flip the seat in a cycle where both parties are watching suburban and exurban districts closely.
The general election is Nov. 3, with polls open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Voters can also cast ballots early at the Franklin County Board of Elections, 1700 Morse Road.
Both candidates responded to a voter-guide questionnaire covering their priorities for the district. With early voting underway, local officials expect the race to draw heavy attention — and heavy turnout — in the final weeks.
