Henry County voters are in the final days of early in-person voting in Napoleon ahead of the Nov. 3, 2026 general election, with the Henry County Board of Elections at 1827 Oakwood Ave. in Napoleon serving as the county’s early-voting location, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s county boards directory and early-voting listings and the Henry County Board of Elections’ own absentee and early-voting information page.

Under the Ohio Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule, early in-person voting on Oct. 28-30 runs from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., continues Saturday, Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and ends Sunday, Nov. 1 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There is no in-person early voting on Monday, Nov. 2, according to the Henry County Board of Elections page. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, with polls open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Henry County Board of Elections is listed in the Secretary of State’s directory at 1827 Oakwood Ave., Napoleon, OH 43545, with regular office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and phone 419-592-7956. The board’s own page lists the same Napoleon address for returning absentee ballots and notes that in Ohio a voter may vote absentee without giving a reason.

Key deadlines have now passed or are closing in. The voter registration deadline was Monday, Oct. 5, and absentee ballot applications had to be received by the board by 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, under the Secretary of State’s schedule. Non-UOCAVA absentee ballots must be received by the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, under that schedule — voters holding a completed absentee ballot should return it in person rather than risk a late mail delivery.

Henry County’s early-voting information page notes that UOCAVA (military and overseas) absentee ballots were ready Sept. 18, 2026, and that absentee voting in person and by mail both began Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026. The page also repeats the board’s warning in capital letters that there will be no in-person early voting on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026 — the day before Election Day.

Turnout figures for Henry County specifically were not published in the board or Secretary of State sources consulted for this story, so NewsForce247 is not reporting a county turnout number. Statewide, early voting is in its final scheduled weekend, with Saturday and Sunday hours above the last chance to vote early in person before Tuesday.

What happens next is the close of early voting at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, followed by Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when Henry County voters who have not voted early or by absentee ballot cast their ballots at their assigned polling places from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Results and certification for Henry County will be covered in a second-pass follow-up after the polls close.
