Hancock County voters are in the final days of early in-person voting for the Tuesday, Nov. 3 general election, with the early-voting site at the Hancock County Board of Elections in Findlay open under the statewide schedule set by the Ohio Secretary of State. Early in-person voting began Oct. 6 and ends Sunday, Nov. 1, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule.
The Hancock County Board of Elections is located at 201 E. Lincoln St., Rear, Findlay, OH 45840, and can be reached at 419-422-3245, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s county boards of elections directory. The board’s regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, the directory shows; early-voting hours are longer than regular office hours in this final stretch.
Under the Ohio Secretary of State’s early in-person voting hours, voting runs 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. from Wednesday, Oct. 28 through Friday, Oct. 30, then 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1 — the last day of early in-person voting, according to the Secretary of State’s schedule.
Voters who requested an absentee ballot by mail face a hard deadline this year. Non-UOCAVA absentee ballots must be received by the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, to be counted, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule. Voters holding a completed ballot can return it in person to the board office at 201 E. Lincoln St. in Findlay rather than relying on the mail in the final days.
The deadline to register to vote for this election was Oct. 5, and absentee ballot applications had to be received by the board by 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, according to the Secretary of State’s schedule. Military and overseas (UOCAVA) ballots follow a separate receipt deadline of Nov. 7, the schedule shows.
On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, polls across Ohio are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and voters must cast their ballots at their assigned precinct polling place, according to the Ohio Secretary of State. Hancock County’s board notes the county has 60 precincts staffed on Election Day, according to the Hancock County Board of Elections’ poll-worker information.
Voters who still need to check their registration, find their Election Day polling place or confirm what is on their ballot can contact the Hancock County Board of Elections at 419-422-3245 or through the board’s website, and can also use the Ohio Secretary of State’s voter tools. Early voting ends at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1 — after that, the only way to vote in this election is in person at your precinct on Nov. 3.
