Columbiana County voters are in the final days of early in-person voting for the Tuesday, November 3 general election, casting ballots at the Columbiana County Board of Elections, 7989 Dickey Drive, Suite 3, in Lisbon, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s early voting locations directory.

Statewide early in-person hours, set by the Ohio Secretary of State, run from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, October 29 and 30, then from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, the last day of early in-person voting, according to the Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, polls across Columbiana County will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to the Secretary of State. Voters who still hold an absentee ballot should not rely on the mail at this point: Secretary of State Frank LaRose said on October 27 that it might already be too late to drop ballots in the mail and have them arrive by the Election Day deadline, according to Cleveland.com, as reported by The Cincinnati Enquirer and The Columbus Dispatch.

Instead, absentee ballots can be delivered in person to the board of elections office in Lisbon, and non-UOCAVA absentee ballots must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on November 3 to be counted, according to the Secretary of State’s voting schedule. The deadline to request an absentee ballot passed at 8:30 p.m. on October 27.

Columbiana County’s November 3 ballot includes East Palestine levies and a Salem parks renewal, along with legislative races, as NewsForce247 reported in its first-pass look at the county’s ballot. Voters can check their registration status and preview what is on their ballot through the Secretary of State and the county board of elections, which can be reached at 330-424-1448, according to Metro Monthly’s voter information guide.

Turnout in these final early-voting days will help set the county’s pace heading into Election Day, when polling places in Lisbon, Salem, East Palestine, East Liverpool and communities across the county handle the remaining voters.
