CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce has launched a new online job board for the Scioto Valley region, giving job seekers a single place to find local employment while helping employers promote open positions in real time.

Announced Oct. 6, the RollieJobs-powered platform debuted with more than 500 employers and more than 1,600 open positions. Listings update automatically as employers post openings, cutting down on outdated or duplicate postings, and all Chamber investors’ open positions are included on the site at no additional cost.

The job board lets users browse companies directly, see how many positions each employer has open and filter listings by industry. Job seekers can upload a résumé and receive a ranked list of employers that match their experience, and an optional feature allows the Chamber to keep résumés on file for future opportunities. “This is exactly the kind of resource our investors have been asking for,” said Mike Throne, president and CEO of the chamber.

The Chamber said the project is part of its broader workforce development efforts connecting employers, job seekers and the community. “Communities are sitting on a huge amount of job data that’s scattered across hundreds of employer websites,” said Alex Sejdinaj, founder of RollieJobs, adding that the platform gathers that data automatically every week. The job board is now available through the Chamber’s website at chillicotheohio.com.
