A. Duie Pyle has opened a new less-than-truckload service center in West Chester Township, extending the company’s direct LTL network into Southwest Ohio. The company announced the opening on October 20, 2026, saying the facility at 6549 Allen Road, West Chester Township, Ohio 45069, will serve manufacturers, distributors and other businesses across the Greater Cincinnati area.
The new center has 44 doors and is designed to handle LTL freight, shipments that are larger than parcels but do not fill an entire trailer on their own. From West Chester Township, Pyle said the facility will strengthen freight connections between Ohio and the company’s established Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets, and it will also support freight movements within Ohio itself.
The facility is expected to create 21 jobs at opening and employ approximately 36 people by the end of 2026, according to the company. Pyle said additional jobs are possible as freight volumes grow at the center. The company did not detail in the announcement how those positions break down between driving, dock, office and other roles.
“Growing our network is about being where our customers need us and creating stronger connections between the markets they serve,” said Frank Granieri, the company’s chief commercial officer. “Cincinnati gives us an important presence in Southwest Ohio and allows us to extend Pyle’s direct LTL service to more customers while strengthening the connection between Ohio and our established Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.”
For local shippers, a direct service center in the township means freight can enter Pyle’s own network closer to where it originates, rather than moving first through a more distant terminal. Manufacturers and distributors in Greater Cincinnati shipping to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic are the primary customers the company cited for the new location, along with businesses moving freight between points inside Ohio.
Pyle is a 102-year-old family-owned carrier founded in 1924 and based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, a community separate from West Chester Township, Ohio. In addition to LTL service, the company provides dedicated transportation, warehousing and brokerage services. The Ohio opening follows a warehouse opening in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and a 2025 westward-expansion strategy that included terminals planned for Columbus, Toledo and Cincinnati.
The West Chester Township center is now the company’s operating foothold for that Cincinnati-area part of the expansion plan. Pyle said employment at the site is expected to rise through the end of 2026 as volumes build, with the facility serving Greater Cincinnati businesses from its Allen Road location.
