Darke County voters are entering the final days of early in-person voting in Greenville ahead of the Tuesday, Nov. 3 general election, with early voting continuing at the Darke County Board of Elections, 300 Garst Ave. in Greenville, under the statewide schedule set by the Ohio Secretary of State.

Early in-person voting in Ohio runs through Sunday, Nov. 1, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule. Remaining hours are Friday, Oct. 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Secretary of State’s schedule shows.

Darke County’s board office at 300 Garst Ave. in Greenville is also the drop-off location for absentee ballots, according to the Columbus Dispatch’s statewide drop-off list. Secretary of State Frank LaRose said on Oct. 27 that it might already be too late to drop ballots in the mail and have them arrive by the Election Day deadline, according to Cleveland.com as reported by the Columbus Dispatch.

For this election, non-military and non-overseas absentee ballots must be received by the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, the Secretary of State’s schedule states. A postmark alone is not enough, so voters still holding a mail ballot can deliver it in person to the board office or its secure drop box by that deadline.

On the Nov. 3 ballot statewide, Darke County voters will join all Ohio voters in deciding the state’s statewide races and statewide Issue 3, the proposed constitutional amendment on voter identification, in addition to the county, municipal, township and school contests and levies on their local precinct ballots. Voters should check their specific sample ballot with the Darke County Board of Elections before heading to vote.

Voters voting in person must present an approved photo ID, such as an unexpired Ohio driver’s license or state identification card, a U.S. passport or qualifying military identification, under Ohio’s current voter ID requirements.

Election Day voting is Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at each voter’s assigned precinct polling place, the Secretary of State’s schedule states. Voters who are in line by 7:30 p.m. can vote. This is a second-pass election update for Darke County; the county’s first-pass ballot preview was published earlier in the rotation.
