Medina County voters have one week left to cast a ballot early in person for the November 3, 2026 general election, with early voting running through Sunday, November 1 at the Medina County Board of Elections, 3800 Stonegate Drive, Suite C, in Medina, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s early voting locations directory.

Early in-person voting began October 6 in Ohio, according to the Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule. The final week brings the longest hours of the early voting period, giving Medina County residents in Medina, Brunswick, Wadsworth and communities across the county extended morning and evening options before Election Day.

Under the Secretary of State’s schedule, early voting hours this week are 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 26; 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27; and 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, October 28 to 30. Voting continues Saturday, October 31, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, November 1, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There is no early in-person voting on Monday, November 2.

Tuesday, October 27 is also a key deadline for voters who want to vote by mail. Absentee ballot applications must be received by the county board of elections by 8:30 p.m. that day, according to the Secretary of State’s schedule. Absentee voting by mail also began October 6, and the registration deadline for this election was October 5.

Voters who have already received an absentee ballot can return it several ways, according to the Medina County Board of Elections. Ballots can be mailed to the board at P.O. Box 506, Medina, OH 44258, hand-delivered by the voter or a relative to the board office, or deposited in the board’s 24-hour secure drop box outside the main entrance of its office, where no postage is needed. The board states that an absentee ballot must be received before the close of polls on Election Day to be counted, and the Secretary of State’s schedule sets that receipt deadline for non-military and non-overseas ballots at 7:30 p.m. on November 3.

Before heading out, voters can check their registration, precinct and polling place and view their ballot through the voter lookup tools linked by the Medina County Board of Elections. Reviewing a sample ballot in advance can help voters see the races and issues that will appear for their precinct before they arrive at the early voting location or their Election Day polling place.
