Paulding County voters can cast an early in-person ballot for the Nov. 3, 2026 general election from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 23, at the Paulding County Board of Elections, 105 East Perry Street in Paulding, according to the board’s posted early voting schedule. The weekday 8-to-5 schedule has been in place since early voting opened on Oct. 6.
The first Saturday of early voting follows on Oct. 24, when the board office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours then expand in the final full week: Monday, Oct. 26 runs 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 27 runs 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., before 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. days on Oct. 28, 29 and 30.
Oct. 27 carries a second deadline as well. Under Ohio’s statewide schedule, absentee ballot applications must be received by the board of elections by 8:30 p.m. that Tuesday, so Paulding County voters who want to vote by mail need their application in the board’s hands by the close of that long voting day. Mailed absentee ballots must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
Early voting wraps up on the final weekend, with hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. There is no early voting on Monday, Nov. 2. On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, polls across Paulding County are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The board of elections office is the county’s single early voting location, a setup Ohio uses statewide — one early vote center per county, run by the county board. The Ohio Secretary of State’s early voting directory lists the Paulding County board at the same 105 East Perry Street address, and the board can be reached at 419-399-8230 with questions about registration, sample ballots or voting hours.
Paulding County voters head into the Nov. 3 election with the statewide slate at the top of the ballot alongside their county, township, village and school questions. Checking a sample ballot before arriving is the fastest way to shorten the trip, and the board’s site links to the county’s candidate and issue lists for the general election.
For voters who prefer to plan ahead, the longest remaining early voting days are the last ones: the 12-hour days on Oct. 26 and Oct. 28 through 30, and the 13-hour day on Oct. 27. After Nov. 1, the only remaining way to vote in Paulding County is at a voter’s assigned polling place on Election Day itself.
