King City Gardens Group has opened its newest The Garden Dispensary location in Colerain Township, giving the locally owned Cincinnati cannabis company its third store in the Greater Cincinnati area, the company announced Tuesday.
The Colerain Township opening builds on the company’s existing locations in Camp Washington and Sycamore Township. According to the company, the Sycamore Township store ranks among Ohio’s top five dispensaries, while the Camp Washington location sits among the top 20 in the state.
The new store is designed around convenience, education and customer experience, the company said, with a curated selection of Ohio cannabis products. Shoppers can buy King City Gardens’ own products alongside brands from across Ohio’s cannabis market.
“We’re proud to be building The Garden experience right here in Cincinnati,” said Caveh Azadeh, co-founder of King City Gardens. “As a locally owned and operated company, our goal has always been to create dispensaries that deliver quality products, competitive pricing, and exceptional customer service. The success of our Camp Washington and Sycamore Township locations has established a strong foundation, and we’re excited to bring that same experience to the Colerain community.”
The expansion adds another retail option on Cincinnati’s northwest side, where Colerain Township is one of Hamilton County’s largest suburban communities. The company says the location was chosen to make its retail experience more accessible to customers in that part of the metro area.
Ohio’s regulated cannabis market has continued to grow since adult-use sales began, with locally owned operators competing alongside national chains. King City Gardens has leaned on its Cincinnati roots in that competition, branding The Garden around local ownership and store experience.
Like all Ohio dispensaries, the Colerain Township store operates under the state’s regulated program, serving adult-use customers 21 and older with valid identification as well as registered medical marijuana patients. Staff are expected to help customers navigate product categories and state purchase rules, part of the education focus the company highlights in its store design.
The Colerain Township dispensary is open to customers now, the company said, joining the Camp Washington and Sycamore Township stores in serving the Greater Cincinnati market.
