Jerry Seinfeld is coming back to Dayton. The comedian will perform at the Schuster Center on Friday, March 5, 2027, at 7 p.m., and tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, November 6, at 10 a.m., according to Dayton Live, which operates the downtown venue.

WHIO in Dayton reported the return on Friday as part of its local entertainment coverage, and Dayton Live’s event page lists the show as a JS Touring presentation. Dayton Live notes it is the only outlet authorized to sell tickets to events at the Schuster Center, the Victoria Theatre, the PNC Arts Annex and The Loft Theatre — a detail worth remembering when resale listings appear.

Dayton Live describes Seinfeld as America’s premier comedian, hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere, and notes that he continues to perform both nationally and internationally. It is the observational style that carried his self-titled sitcom to its place as one of the most successful comedies in television history, and that he has kept on the road in theaters ever since.

The Schuster Center date lands in the middle of a busy early-2027 stand-up run. Seinfeld’s tour also brings him to Peoria, Illinois, on March 26, 2027, with tickets for that show on the same November 6 on-sale date, according to the Peoria Journal Star. Dayton’s show comes three weeks earlier, giving Miami Valley fans the first regional shot at seats.

The Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, at Second and Ludlow streets in downtown Dayton, is the Miami Valley’s flagship concert hall — home to the Dayton Philharmonic, Dayton Opera and Dayton Ballet, and the room national touring acts book when they play the region. Dayton Live advises patrons driving in that the Arts Garage, on the northwest corner of Second and Ludlow, is open for all Schuster Center and Victoria Theatre performances.

For downtown Dayton, a Seinfeld night is also an economic one. A sold-out Schuster Center puts a theater full of patrons on downtown sidewalks before and after the show, in a district where Dayton Live’s venues — the Schuster Center, the Victoria Theatre, the PNC Arts Annex and The Loft Theatre — anchor the performing-arts calendar. Even the parking carries a local angle: the Arts Garage is owned and operated by Dayton Live, so parking fees there help support the venues themselves, according to Dayton Live.

The announcement adds another marquee night to a regional arts calendar that is filling up fast. In Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Ballet, the band Over the Rhine and the Cincinnati Symphony will share one stage on November 6-7, a collaboration NewsForce247 covered this week, and in Toledo, a Western-themed Christmas on Tour production brings trick riders and a live nativity to the Huntington Center on November 13-14.

What we know — and what we’re still waiting on

What is confirmed: the date — Friday, March 5, 2027, at 7 p.m. — the venue, and the public on-sale, Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10 a.m., all come directly from Dayton Live. Dayton Live also notes that once tickets are ordered, they become accessible approximately 60 days before the performance date, regardless of the delivery method selected. What has not been published yet: ticket prices and any presale windows, which Dayton Live had not listed with the announcement.

What happens next is simple and time-sensitive: the November 6 on-sale. Seinfeld’s theater dates routinely sell quickly, and Dayton Live is the authorized seller — fans who want seats at face value should plan to buy there when the window opens at 10 a.m. next Friday.
