XENIA, Ohio — Greene County voters are in the final stretch of early voting, with the county Board of Elections offering long hours through the weekend before polls open across the county on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.

Early in-person voting takes place at the Greene County Board of Elections, 551 Ledbetter Road in Xenia, according to the board’s official site. The board’s regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the extended early-voting hours listed below replacing them for the rest of this week. The board can be reached at (937) 562-6170.

Under the statewide early-voting schedule published by the Ohio Secretary of State, early voting runs from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28 through Friday, October 30. The final weekend follows the same statewide pattern: Saturday, October 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 1 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Early voting ends at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1 — there is no early voting on Monday, November 2.

Voters who requested an absentee ballot by mail are working against fixed deadlines as well. The window to apply for an absentee ballot closed at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, under the Secretary of State’s 2026 voting schedule. Voted non-UOCAVA absentee ballots must be received by the Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, November 3, to be counted, while ballots from uniformed and overseas voters may be received by mail through November 7. The board’s ballot drop box outside the Ledbetter Road office is available 24 hours a day, according to the board.

Greene County’s ballot carries the statewide races Ohio voters decide November 3 — governor, attorney general, auditor, secretary of state, treasurer, two Ohio Supreme Court seats and the U.S. Senate contest — along with statewide Issue 3, the proposed constitutional amendment on photo ID for voting, and the county’s own local races, levies and issues. Voters can review their sample ballot and confirm their Election Day precinct polling place through the Secretary of State’s voter lookup before they go.

Early voters must bring an accepted photo ID under Ohio law, unless the voter has a religious objection to being photographed and completes the attestation form prescribed by the Secretary of State. Voters who cannot make the early-voting hours will vote at their assigned precinct polling places on Election Day.
