GEORGETOWN, Ohio — Early voting for the November 3, 2026 general election enters its final week in Brown County, with in-person early voting available at the Brown County Board of Elections in Georgetown, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s early voting directory.

The board is listed by the Secretary of State at 9116 Hamer Rd, Suite 103, Georgetown, OH 45121. That office is Brown County’s early voting location, where registered voters can cast a ballot in person ahead of Election Day without waiting for November 3.

Statewide early in-person voting hours lengthen in the final week, according to the Secretary of State’s voting schedule. Voting runs Monday, Oct. 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 28-30 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by Saturday, Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 1 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the final early voting session.

Brown County voters should also note the absentee deadline in the final week. Absentee ballot applications must be received by the board of elections by 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, according to the Secretary of State. Absentee ballots themselves must be received by the board by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, polls across Ohio are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Voters who do not vote early or by mail will vote at their assigned polling place on that day, and anyone in line at closing time is entitled to vote under Ohio law.

The second-pass update for Brown County is part of a statewide rotation ensuring every Ohio county is covered during the early voting period. The Secretary of State’s sample ballot tools and the county board can help voters review what will appear on their specific ballot before they arrive, so they can check contested races and local issues in advance.

With the final week now under way, Brown County voters who want to avoid Election Day lines have a clear window: vote early in Georgetown during the extended hours above, return an absentee ballot by the deadlines, or plan for November 3 between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
