Williams County voters can cast an early in-person ballot on Saturday, October 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Williams County Board of Elections, 1425 East High Street, Suite 104, in Bryan, as early voting for the November 3 general election enters its final full week.

Saturday is one of only two weekend days left on Ohio’s early-voting calendar. There is no early voting on Sunday, October 25, and the schedule expands on Monday, October 26, when the board is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, October 27, is a double deadline day in Williams County: the board is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and absentee ballot applications must be received by the board by 8:30 p.m. that evening. Voters who still want a ballot by mail should not wait past Tuesday.

Early voting then continues from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, through Friday, October 30, followed by a final Saturday session on October 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a final Sunday session on November 1 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There is no early voting on Monday, November 2.

The board has also rescheduled the public testing of its voting equipment to Thursday, October 29, at 10 a.m. at the board office — the logic and accuracy testing that lets the public watch the machines counted for the election be checked before Election Day. Sample ballots for the November 3 election are available to view through the board’s voter lookup site and at the board office.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, Williams County voters vote at their precinct polling place, with polls open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Non-military absentee ballots must be received by the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

The board of elections can be reached at 419-636-1854. The board reported no county early-vote turnout total for publication this week, so voters should rely on the posted hours above rather than waiting for a quieter day that the board has not forecast.

Early in-person ballots are cast at the board of elections office, not at a voter’s precinct polling place — that precinct location is where Williams County voters will go on Election Day itself. Voters who are unsure of their registration status or their Election Day polling place can check both through the Ohio Secretary of State’s voter lookup tools before they travel.
