The Ohio Bobcats host Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium in Athens, with kickoff set for 4 p.m. ET on ESPNU, looking to extend a 16-game home winning streak that Ohio says is the longest active streak in the nation.
Ohio enters the game 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the Mid-American Conference after a 48-7 win at Sacramento State. Eastern Michigan arrives 4-4 overall and 3-1 in the MAC after a 34-14 loss to Toledo that snapped the Eagles’ three-game conference winning streak.
Saturday’s meeting is the 36th between the two programs. Ohio is seeking its fifth straight win over Eastern Michigan after beating the Eagles 28-21 in their last meeting.
Ohio University is marking Heroes Day and Senior Day around the game, with a Senior Day celebration planned pregame. Fans were encouraged to wear their favorite Bobcats gear for the final Saturday game at Peden Stadium in 2026.
For Eastern Michigan, quarterback Noah Kim threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns on 16-of-36 passing in the Toledo game, according to Ohio’s scouting report. Wide receiver Joshua Long led the Eagles with seven catches for 84 yards and a career-long 30-yard touchdown, and Harold Mack Jr. hauled in his team-leading fourth touchdown of the season.
Defensively for the Eagles, linebacker Bryce Llewellyn led Eastern Michigan against Toledo with a season-high 10 tackles, including seven solo stops, along with a pass breakup and a forced fumble, Ohio said.
The game can also be heard on the Ohio radio broadcast with Marty Bannister on play-by-play and Rob Cornelius as color analyst. With both teams holding winning MAC records entering Saturday, the result will shape the conference race heading into the final weeks of October — but the game had not been played when Ohio published its preview, and no result is reported here.
