B3 Hauling, a Columbus-based delivery company, announced on October 23 that it is expanding beyond final-mile delivery into same-day, on-demand courier service for customers across central Ohio and surrounding areas.
The company said the new offering builds on a business founded by childhood friends Mason Griffith and Ben Anderson, which began as a small final-mile operation and has grown since 2020 into freight work for large retail chains.
According to the company, the courier service will support brokers, warehouses, supply-chain teams and local customers, with 24/7 dispatch for time-sensitive shipments.
B3 said its fleet includes high-roof cargo vans, liftgate-equipped box trucks and sedans, allowing it to match the vehicle type to the size of a shipment, from same-day courier runs to larger freight moves.
In its announcement, the company listed courier delivery alongside expedited box truck freight, dedicated routes and direct hot-shot transport among the services customers can review through its website.
“We are bringing the same focus on speed, safety and customer service from our final-mile work to same-day, on-demand courier delivery,” said Ben Anderson, vice president of B3 Hauling, in the release.
For central Ohio businesses, the expansion adds another local option for same-day delivery at a time when warehouses and retailers in the Columbus area continue to rely on flexible, on-demand transport for urgent orders.
B3 Hauling did not announce a separate opening date for the courier service in its release, presenting the expansion as an extension of its existing Columbus operations.
The expansion reflects the company’s stated path from a locally built final-mile operation into a broader delivery business. B3 said it handles freight for large retail chains as well as local customers, and that the same dispatch and fleet structure that supports those routes will now support on-demand courier requests as well.
Customers reviewing the service can compare courier delivery with the company’s expedited box truck freight, dedicated routes and direct hot-shot transport, depending on the size and urgency of a shipment. The company said vehicle choice — cargo van, liftgate box truck or sedan — is matched to each job rather than using a single vehicle type for every delivery.
